THE HISTORY OF METHODOLOGIES AS A METACOGNITIVE STRATEGY

This paper presents research work in the frame of the Faculty Internal Grant (Interní Grantová Soutež –IGS-FP-TUL-č. 114/2009 -Č.j.:KRO/231/2009.). Its objective is to point out the value of the evolution of learning and teaching methodologies throughout history as a meta-cognitive strategy. This strategy, here presented as the result of the research, is already present in R. Oxford’s classification as a particular way to arrange and plan learning.
